16% of children in the United States — more than 11 million kids — are growing up in poverty. Poverty shapes everything: their health, their education, their sense of what's possible, their future.

Comic Relief uses comedy to fight back — making childhood poverty unignorable, engaging people across the country to act on it, and getting resources to organizations on the ground — to ensure kids grow up with what they need.

To date, the Comic Relief community has helped more than 50 million children and families live healthier, safer, and more empowered lives.
